Charles Hooks
Charles Hooks, was a native of Bertie County, N. C.; elected as Representative from North Carolina
to the Fourteenth Congress (vice W. R. King, resigned) as a Democrat; elected to the Sixteenth, Seventeenth, and
Eighteenth Congresses; moved to Alabama, and died in 1851.
